CAPA: Climate Action within the AU-EU Partnership for Africa
AU-EU partnership for Climate adaptation, Climate services, early warning, DRR, water, agriculture, health, urban, capacity building, innovation, open science, knowledge
What the project is all about
Despite contributing little to global greenhouse gas emissions, Africa bears a disproportionate share of climate impacts, from heat waves and droughts to floods and cyclones, affecting vulnerable urban and rural communities across the continent.
CAPA (Climate Action within the AU-EU Partnership for Africa) is a transdisciplinary consortium of African and European scientists, policymakers, funders, service providers and communities, working together to strengthen disaster risk reduction and climate resilience across the five African regions.
